Realistic Furniture Modeling and Rendering
We were challenged to improve upon our quick conceptual models by adding realistic details like wrinkles and uneven bumpiness on cushions. We used a modeling software that fashion designers use mostly which helps to simulate the real sewing method of a seat cushion or backrest. Imagine to generate the inner layers of the assembly and adding air and puffiness / or by wrapping around your cushions with your cut out textile patters. These realistic models may be used for depicting a final prototype or advertisements, sales brochures, or websites. By trying out different textiles and rendering them, you could make a decision on things like fabric (which one to be offered for a collection).

Core Furniture Modeling and Renderings
During the Conceptual Design phase simple and quick 3d modeling and rendering needed. At this stage, the furniture designers would like to see how their 2D CAD drawings come to life, how their sketch and imagination takes place with lighting in studio environment. These renderings help to communicate between designers, fabricators, and furniture selling companies. Prototype making, testing and advertisement can run along to get ready to introduce a new product on the market when it is finished and perfected.
